Day 4 AM

Good morning.

Today is our last full day of camp. Pray that God will continue to work in the lives of our Champions.

Day 3 in pictures

Day 3 Army of One July 7, 2010

Yes, we are still at camp, just a busy day and didn’t have time to post early, please forgive us.

For breakfast we had pancakes, sausage, fruit and milk/juice. Also offered each day is a variety of cereal, so your Champion will not be hungry. Lunch was pizza, salad and a cookie for dessert. Dinner they served spaghetti, salad, garlic bread and a cherry dessert.

First rotation was swimming, which was great! God kept the rain away and we got all of our recreation activities played.

Tonight, Jack Terrell preached from Mark 2:1-12, Jesus heals a Paralytic. Jack told us that God deals with us on the inside first whereas people look at us on the outside. He talked about the faith of the four friends who brought their friend to Jesus to be healed.

Please keep the e-mails coming we print them out a couple of times a day so the kids can know that you are thinking about them.

Continue to pray for your Champion each day. Also, lift up the Shepherds who help minister to your Champion. It is great seeing the smiles on their faces.

We are excited about the great things God is doing.

Day 2 in Pictures

More pictures on FACEBOOK. More will be uploaded tomorrow. Have a great night.

End of day 2 Army of One

It was a great evening here at camp. For dinner we had tacos and beans with a cookie for dessert. Wonder what they will serve tomorrow night? Any guesses????

Jack Terrell did a great job teaching the Champions about Living Water and that we need to get away from sin and go to the Living Water. He preached from John 4:7-10, 25. We had several that came down to either re-dedicate their life, make a first time decision, or take steps toward God. God is Great and is doing great things in our Champions.

Please continue to pray for our Champions and their relationship with Christ.

We have taken a bunch of pictures and want to get them posted, so there will be one more post tonight before we turn out the lights and call it a night. You can also check Jerry’s facebook page and click on Camp 2010 photos and see some more pictures of your little ones.

Day 2 in review…..

Wow what a difference a day can make…

Parents I am so blessed to work with your Champion! I have had the opportunity on several occasions to see God really work in their lives. There have been a few minor changes to schedules and activities due to weather and they have embraced the change and made the best of it. We have had a few that were a little homesick but we prayed with them and assured them that YOU were ok and that they would see them on Friday morning.

On another note everyone was able to swim today and we learned how God puts in places to make a difference in the lives of others! Some have experienced this first hand!

Please pray specifically for God to continue to work out His amazing plan for each of our lives! Tune in for more details from the evening service and those WONDERFUL pictures I know you are waiting on!

Day 2 Army of One July 6, 2010 am post

What a great day the Lord has given us! We had eggs, sausage, biscuit, gravy, yogurt, grapes, apple, orange and milk/juice for breakfast.

Tonight Jack Terrell, camp Pastor, will be speaking about making a decision for Christ. Please be in prayer for our Champions as they make the most important decision of their life. Lift up Jack in your prayers as he brings the message to our Champions.

Parents, please keep the e-mails coming, the kids are loving them! Let your child know you are praying for them.
